“A Music Educator Who Touches the Heart with Care”

Maggie is a dedicated music educator with over 20 years of experience in the Orff-Schulwerk approach, passionately promoting early childhood music education. Now based in the UK, she focuses on integrating Orff principles into piano and music theory teaching. She previously served as Music Director at Nido Montessori Nursery and Casa Dei Bambini Montessori School.

Before relocating, Maggie was actively involved in promoting Orff education in Hong Kong and Macau. In 2006, she founded the Orff Music Studio and served as its Curriculum Director. In 2022, she helped establish the Macau Orff Association, officially recognized by the Orff-Schulwerk Forum of Salzburg, and currently serves as its president.

She has been a parent-child course instructor at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts EXCEL program, and has designed and led music workshops, parent talks, and teacher training for numerous schools and organizations, including The Salvation Army, Tsung Tsin Mission, Christian Family Service Centre, Singapore International School, and Mighty Oaks.

Maggie is passionate about organizing interactive music events. She has curated well-received performances such as “Christmas Classical Concert,” “Melodies of Nature at Wetland Park,” and the “Ah Mui Series,” blending the Orff approach with engaging, hands-on experiences.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Music with a major in Music Education from Hong Kong Baptist University, and has completed all three levels of professional Orff training in the United States and Canada.
