Kalya’s yoga journey began with a desire to find balance amidst the fast pace of life. In 2016, she fortuitously obtained her yoga instructor certification and started exploring mindfulness, culminating in her graduation with a Master’s degree in Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong in 2023. This journey has unwittingly led her down another path filled with inspiration.
Kalya firmly believes that the wisdom of Buddhism and the practice of yoga can bring strength and serenity to everyday life. In recent years, alongside her regular yoga classes, she has shared mindfulness experiences at various institutions, charitable organisations, and rehabilitation centres. She has also participated in a mindfulness-based research project at the Polytechnic University, where she is responsible for planning and teaching mindfulness courses. Her aim is to help others find their moments of peace amid busy lives and to thrive under the nourishment of love.
